Lots of Changes....

We've had some decisions to make this last month, and I hate making hard decisions! We have decided to not move to Hawaii and take the "promotion" offered to Kirk and hopefully be able to stay here in Washington and just lay down some roots here. I say "promotion" because Kirk will have to stay on a boat for about 2-3 years longer...not fun!!

But this is fun:

We bought a new CAR!!

Its a Chevy Tahoe Hybrid....and its the first brand spankin new car we have ever owned! I love it, and will feel more safe driving to Utah with 4-wheel drive! I'm excited to play with all the buttons on our LONG drive too! Tyler however DOESN'T like it, he seriously threw the biggest tantrum at the dealership when we all loaded up in our new car! He LOVED our old red van....I think mainly because it was red (his favorite color), but he doesn't really do good with change so much either....another reason for us staying here.

We are so excited to see our families here in the next little bit, and I probably wont blog about Christmas til after the new year....so I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

How did I get such handsome little boys? This is Dereks preschool picture, can you believe he is 4? Time flies when you are super busy! This little boy has preschool 3 days a week and he loves his teacher Miss Diane (who is a saint!). And he also has speech 3 days a week. He is talking so much better now, and really enjoys going to speech! He tells me that its so easy because they get to play the whole time...what a lucky kid!

Phew, I think I got everything blogged for the past 2 months! I have been such a slacker blogging things and I thought I should hurry and get them on here before I have our Utah trip and Christmas to blog about! I think I did 5 blogs all together, so keep reading down the page for more interesting tid bits of our lives!

Crackin Eggs

What to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon?? Teach the kids to crack eggs!! Surprisingly they are pretty good! Tyler didn't get a single shell in his bowl and he cracked 3 eggs...thats better than me! Derek smooshed 2 eggs completely, and then on the third he finally got it!

Kirks project

While I was in Utah, Kirk set out to make this box to mount under our TV. He enlisted the help of a friend, and I think they did a fabulous job!

He looked at some similar online, and they were around $400....he made ours for $75!

What a thrifty husband I have!!

Sweet Potatoes and Bon Jovi

Look at that messy face, and tell me you don't want to just eat her up??

She LOVES her sweet potatoes, but she is still learning and we tend to get a little messy!

This day we were rockin out to Bon Jovi (getting my self pumped up for the concert!), and Dani was loving it! She was laughing at me singing along with the songs, and it made feeding her vegetable a little bit more fun!

I seriously can't wait to go to the concert, seriously. Kirk got tickets for Christmas, and February 20th isn't going to get here soon enough! "Shot through the heart and your to blame....." Finish the song, I know you want too!!!
